Get started with Focusly by creating your account and verifying your email.

Creating Your Account

Step 1: Sign Up

1. Visit focusly.one
2. Click the Sign Up button
3. Fill in the registration form:
   • Name: Your full name (optional, but helps personalize your experience)
   • Email: A valid email address you have access to
   • Password: A secure password (minimum 6 characters)
4. Click Create Account

Step 2: Check Your Email

After signing up, you'll receive a verification email at the address you provided. This email:

• Comes from noreply@focusly.one
• Contains a verification link
• Is valid for 24 hours

Important: Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

1. Open the verification email
2. Click the Verify Email button or link
3. You'll be redirected to Focusly with a confirmation message
4. Your account is now verified and ready to use!

What Happens After Verification?

Once your email is verified:

• ✅ You'll receive a welcome email
• ✅ You can access all 8 learning modules
• ✅ You can create and save outputs to folders
• ✅ Your work is automatically saved to your account

Verification Token Expired?

If your verification link has expired (after 24 hours):

1. Log in to your account
2. You'll see a prompt to resend the verification email
3. Click to request a new verification link
4. Check your email for the new verification link

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the verification email

1. Check spam/junk folder: Email providers sometimes filter automated emails
2. Wait a few minutes: Email delivery can take 1-5 minutes
3. Check the email address: Make sure you entered the correct email during signup
4. Contact support: If the issue persists, reach out for assistance

The verification link doesn't work

1. Check if it expired: Links are valid for 24 hours only
2. Copy the full URL: Sometimes email clients break long URLs across multiple lines
3. Try a different browser: Some browser extensions can interfere with links
4. Request a new link: Log in and request a new verification email

Security Tips

• Use a strong password: Combine letters, numbers, and symbols
• Don't share your password: Keep your account credentials private
• Use a unique password: Don't reuse passwords from other sites
• Log out on shared devices: Always log out when using public computers
